Florosa is a bakery & flower farm in Charlottesville, Virginia, blending international technique with Latin-inspired flavors with Virginian ingredients. Ingredients and garnish grown just outside the bakery’s door appear on celebration cakes, breakfast trays, coffee shop menus, and carefully packaged edible blooms — all by Florosa.

At Florosa, pastry begins in the soil through partnerships with local farms, backyard and local eggs, locally milled flour, and the harvest from our own beds of edible flowers, herbs, berries, and vegetables. This approach creates pastries that feel connected to place: vibrant, seasonal, and thoughtfully sourced.

Our offerings include garden-inspired cakes for weddings and celebrations, small-batch pastries and pan dulce for cafés and dining programs, catered spreads for corporate & private events, and curated tea parties and popups across Charlottesville.

Each menu reflects the seasons, the garden on our 1/4 acre certified farm, and the multicultural influences that shape Florosa’s pastry identity. Florosa is an umbrella for everything that happens in the bakery, the garden, and beyond.
